Virginia Lodge Care Home is a private, family-run care and retirement home for the elderly, established in 1990. It is situated in around one acre of open countryside, just outside of the town of Longtown, approximately nine miles north of the city of Carlisle in Cumbria, and three miles south of Gretna Green.
A third-generation run and owned family care home, we are dedicated and passionate in providing 24 hour care and support to residents over the age of 65.
We cater for people with a range of needs including old age, dementia, learning disabilities, immobility, and sensory impairment.
As well as long-term care, Virginia Lodge Care Home offers short-term care with a dedicated respite room.
Virginia Lodge Care Home is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) who carry out inspections to ensure that Virginia Lodge Care Home is meeting the requirements it sets out to.
